1. Name of University (Country name): King’s College London (UK)

King’s College is consistently ranked among the top 25 Universities in the world and is among the oldest in England. King’s is located in London, and has students from some 150 countries worldwide. The University has a particularly distinguished reputation in the humanities, law, the sciences, and social sciences including international affairs.

2. Dual degree programme: Master of Science(MSc) in Emerging Economies and International Development

Emerging Economies & International Development MSc offers an interdisciplinary program that enables students from a wide range of academic backgrounds to study emerging economies and international development from a variety of different perspectives. The program covers subjects such as development theory, political economy, geography and social policy, and gives students the opportunity to focus on particular countries and regions.

3. General Information

(1) Admission Criteria
     - Students who have earned or expected to complete 24 credits. In principle, the required credits
        include GSIS Core courses, Programs required courses, field of concentration courses, and
        distribution requirement. Otherwise, approval of the program chair is required.
     - Students with TOEFL score 100 (IBT) or above or IELTS score of 7.0 or above, CAE, CPE or
        who completed bachelor’s degree from English speaking country (US, Canada, UK, Ireland,
        Australia or New Zealand)
     - Students who are recommended by the program chair
     - Students who are physically healthy
     - Students who have not received any disciplinary action
     - Students who have no problem obtaining a British visa
     - Students who meet all other conditions specified in the dual degree agreement
     - Thesis is compulsory if student takes dual degree program
(2) Admission schedule
     - Website announcement: Every February
     - Available date: Second semester only
(3) Required documents
     - An application form (King’s College London format)
     - Statement of Purpose (One page)
     - Official transcripts of undergraduate and graduate school in English
     - Copy of English proficiency (TOEFL 100 or above or IETLS 7.0 or above) (Taken within 2 years)
       or Bachelor’s degree from English speaking country (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or New
       Zealand)
(4) Application process
     - Apply it through Yonsei GSIS office

4. Tuition, Scholarship and length of visit

(1) Tuition: Pay an international tuition fee at King’s College London (18,420 GBP about 30 millon KRW) per year
(2) Length of visit: Two semesters (One year)
