Research Positions at the Center for International Studies, Yonsei University
The Center International Studies (CIS) at Yonsei University invites applications for research associate and/or postdoctoral researcher positions in its Global Integrated Assessment Modeling Research Program. We look forward to receiving applications from enthusiastic and dedicated researchers.
1. Openings: Research Associate(*), Postdoctoral Researcher (0 positions)
(*Ph.D. candidates currently enrolled at Yonsei University are eligible to apply.)2. Research Focus:
- 1) Development of a Global Integrated Assessment Model for GHG Mitigation
- 2) Key Areas of Responsibility:
- A. Research on energy, greenhouse gases, and circular economy strategies, and analysis of economic impacts using CGE models
- B. Integrated database (DB) development and management (data collection, organization, analysis, UI management, etc.)
3. Qualifications:
- 1) A master’s degree (Research Associate) or doctoral degree (Postdoctoral Researcher) in a related field
- 2) A strong commitment to high-quality research with the goal of publishing in leading academic journals
- 3) Preference will be given to candidates with:
B. Experience in analyzing economic and statistical big data related to energy and greenhouse gases
C. Organizational skills in maintaining consistent, structured databases and/or experience in UI management for websites4. Contract Period: Initial appointment through December 31, 2025, with the possibility of renewal
5. Compensation: TBD in accordance with Yonsei University’s research funding guidelines
