The special lecture titled "Transition and Prospects of Capitalism: ESG and Sustainable Development '' was given by Dr. Sung Jin Kang, Professor of Economics at Korea University on Wednesday 17th of May 2023. The event was organised by the Center for International Studies of Yonsei Graduate School of International Studies as part of the Special Lecture Series.

Dr. Sung Jin Kang is a professor at Korea University in the Department of Economics. He is also a director of Institute for Economic Research and the director of the Graduate school of Energy and Environment Global Energy Technology Policy Professionals Program (GETPPP) at Korea University.

His lecture focused on the evolution of the concept of capitalism and its implication to the modern society to achieve sustainable development. Active Q&A and discussions among the participants were followed.
