The Yonsei GSIS Career Development Center (CDC) has officially launched the Spring 2025 Mentoring Program, which offers students a rare opportunity to engage one-on-one with some of the most accomplished, distinguished professionals across various industries. This program is designed to accelerate both professional and personal growth of students in the fields of: marketing/MNCs, banking/finance, strategy/marketing, international organizations/public, and start-up/entrepreneurship.
This semester’s mentor lineup includes:
- Mira Lee: A seasoned HR expert and board member at SK Ecoplant with decades of experience across GE, Macquarie, and the banking sector.
- Eldad Heilweil: A global strategist from Cheil Worldwide and former executive at McCann NY and Samsung Mobile.
- Dong-Ik Shin: A veteran diplomat and Korea’s former ambassador to Austria and Slovenia, with deep expertise in international organizations.
- Bryan Do: Serial entrepreneur, founder of Three Societies Distilling and Hand & Malt Brewing, with a background at Microsoft and Edelman.
- JongWoo Kim: President of LS Group and former managing director at Diageo and Kellogg, bringing insight into multinational business operations.
Among the many passionate participants, Yoonsung Shin, a freshman of Yonsei GSIS, applied for the ‘International Organizations/Public’ track. With a clear goal of working in the field of global trade and international commerce, he expressed a clear motivation to gain insight and guidance from seasoned mentors. He hopes that this mentoring program will provide him with practical perspectives and networking opportunities crucial for pursuing a future career within international organizations.
The GSIS mentoring program calls on mentees to take ownership and conversations with initiative, respect, and purpose.
