As part of the celebration of Yonsei University's 140th anniversary and the 100th anniversary of the Yon-Ko Games, Yonsei held a special concert titled "Yonseiyo Saranghanda" (연세여 사랑한다), formerly known as Akaraka Alumni. The concert took place on June 8 at the Yonsei Amphitheater and was a great success, bringing together alumni and current students, including GSIS students, in a lively celebration of school spirit and pride. Much like the traditional Akaraka event, the evening featured performances by several popular K-pop artists, who took to the stage to perform their hit songs, while the audience sang and danced along, creating a powerful sense of unity and joy.

The event kicked off with an energetic performance by Yonsei’s official cheering team, Akaraka, whose cheers helped warm up the crowd and build excitement. As tradition dictates, one of the highlights was when everyone joined in singing the school cheering anthem, "Yonseiyo Saranghanda," with heartfelt enthusiasm, proudly expressing their love and loyalty to Yonsei.

After the cheering session, the audience enjoyed nearly seven hours of electrifying live music. The lineup featured RIIZE, FIFTY FIFTY, Crush, BamBam, god, kiikii, Heize, HYB, Apink, KISS OF LIFE, N.Flying, and ZEROBASEONE, each bringing their unique music style and stage presence to the celebration. At the same time, almost all of the artists dressed in blue to honor the occasion and kept the energy alive with unforgettable performances.

The night concluded with a dazzling fireworks show, lighting up the sky in a grand finale that filled the amphitheater with joy and deep affection for Yonsei. The concert also marked the biggest event of the school’s 140th anniversary celebrations, which had taken place throughout the semester.
