The Centre for Australian Studies and the Korea-Australia Foundation in cooperation with the Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University host Justice Michael Kirby, former Chair of the UN Commission of Inquiry on DPRK human rights and former High Court Justice of Australia. Under his leadership, the Commission published "Report of the commission of inquiry on human rights in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea". Justice Kirby will talk about the findings and recommendations of the report, how they are inter-related with wider issues of peace and security, and how the international community can maintain the momentum on addressing human rights violations in the DPRK.
