The graduation ceremony was opened with the invocation and reading of the scripture by the university chaplain Dong Hwan Kim (Ph.D.). Next, the academic report as well as an introduction of the faculty were given by Micheal Kim (Ph.D., Associate Dean), before our Dean Jeong Yeon Lee (Ph.D.) gave his commencement address.
After listening to his inspiring words and congratulations to the graduates, the degrees were officially conferred and the Dean`s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement was given to Anthony Gordon Hess (ITFM). Alison Catherine La Croix, Tashia Marie Shupert, and Enkhrel Enkhtsetseg were also awarded for academic excellence.
We want to congratulate all the graduates and their families one more time and we wish them all the best for their future endeavors! Thank you for having been part of the Yonsei GSIS community and for actively creating and strengthening it. Hopefully we will get the chance to meet again at one of our Alumni events.
