On the 3rd of April, the Career Development Center of Yonsei GSIS hosted a panel-discussion style seminar in New Millenium Hall.
The seminar was consisted of two sessions, with the first part inviting six students who had interned with an international organization, an NGO, and other organizations in the public sector, and with the second part in the private sectors.
The panels shared their experience with each respective organization with the facilitation of Professor Namuh Rhee; and the talks spanned from how the students secured the position to challenges they faced during their internship placement.
One panel, to a question casted from the audience on deciding one's first career, provided a pragmatic, relatable answer, explaining how sometimes making a seeming compromise in today's competitive job market could turn into an unexpected, fruitful result in one's career.
Interested students could reach out to the Career Development Center and ask for contacts of other students who assumed a variety of responsibilities.
