About
The AI Convergence Concentration Major (DAICE — Demand-driven AI-Centered Education) layers core AI education onto a student’s original major. Built on an “AI + X” model, it equips students with AI literacy and data-science skills they can apply within their own field, producing interdisciplinary talent who can put AI to work across disciplines. The program is open to students enrolled in a participating department who have completed at least two semesters and been assigned to a major, and who can meet their department’s concentration requirements. Students apply each semester through the Yonsei Portal. On completion, the diploma carries the designation “[Major] AI Convergence Concentration Major.” The program is offered in 40+ departments across 15 colleges at Yonsei.
Curriculum
The program is delivered through five curriculum models (X1–X5), each blending AI core courses (9–18 credits) with AI-college major courses, department-specific AI-convergence courses, and the student’s original major courses. Total requirements typically run 60–69 credits, varying by department.
