- All WAY courses are letter-graded. Each course's grade is determined by the professor based on the specific grading policy for that class.
- Credit transferability depends on the home institution's policies. For some universities, credits may not be recognized if courses are taken online. Therefore, students are required to check the credit transferability and process with their study abroad advisor in advance.
- WAY does not offer grades in the form of pass/fail.
Course Information
- The course list and details are subject to change without prior notice.
- All courses, except for video lecture courses, are conducted in person.
- Students must register for courses during the designated registration period.
- Selecting preferred courses on the application form is only for survey purposes and does not guarantee course registration.
- There is a minimum enrollment policy: in-person courses with fewer than 8 students registered will be canceled (10 minimum for video lecture courses).
Korean Language Courses (provided by Korean Langauge Institute)
- Please note that all KOREAN LANGUAGE courses provided by the Korean Language Institute are
taught in Korean. - Registration for Korean Language Courses(KLI) are only available during the 1st & 2nd Course Registration Period.
Students CANNOT register for or change their level during the Add & Drop Period. - The placement test will take place on the 1st day of class. The placement test is mandatory for all students, except for Level 1 students(further details regarding the placement test will be provided to registered students.)
- Students registered for "KOREAN LANGUAGE 1" who have no prior knowledge of Korean are exempted from taking the placement test.
- If you register for a Korean course above Level 2 and do not attend the placement test on the first day, please note that your course will be
automatically dropped. - Your level is subject to change and will be finalized according the the result of your placement test.
