On May 22nd, the Career Development Center (CDC) hosted an engaging career talk featuring GSIS alumnus Choeun Kim. Held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM via Zoom, the event provided attendees with valuable insights and tips on navigating and building a successful career in the tech industry.

Choeun Kim, currently an MS consultant at Sprinkr, shared her journey and experiences, emphasizing that a background in technology is not a prerequisite for entering the field. She illustrated this with her own story, highlighting the transferable skills and adaptive mindset that helped her transition into tech from a different background. She did her BA in economics and graduated as an ITFM major from Yonsei GSIS in 2021. 

During the session, the guest relayed information on how her company operated and encouraged attendees to be creative in applying for positions and further developing their professional competencies. Kim highlighted the importance of leveraging skills from various disciplines, continuous learning, and networking. She also emphasized the significance of staying updated with industry trends and actively seeking mentorship opportunities.
