For years, Yonsei University's Cheering Team's AKARAKA Festival, "아카라카를 온누리에," has been one of the university's largest and most cherished events. Held on May 25th at Yonsei's outdoor amphitheater, the 2024 edition continued this tradition.

On that day, the entire Yonsei campus turned blue as students wore Yonsei merchandise, adding to the spirited atmosphere. Those lucky enough to secure tickets enjoyed a high-energy concert, enthusiastically joining cheers led by the cheering squad and belting their Yonsei pride. To add to the excitement, the concert lineup boasted big Korean stars like Day6, Crush, Aespa, and Taeyang, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

This year, the festival introduced a special addition: a dedicated concert day for alumni and graduate students on May 26th. This event allowed Yonsei graduates, their families, and current graduate students to reconnect with the Yonsei spirit. They reveled in performances by top K-pop artists like Ateez, Itzy, Rain, Psy, and more. This expansion provided a fantastic opportunity for alumni to relive their university days and for graduate students to immerse themselves in Yonsei's vibrant culture.

The 2024 AKARAKA Festival was a resounding success, celebrating Yonsei's enduring spirit and fostering a strong sense of community. As always, the event brought together generations of Yonsei members, from current students to esteemed alumni, united by their shared love for Yonsei University.
